唐咸艳，流行病与生物统计学博士、教授、博士\硕士生导师、公共卫生学院副院长、广西CDC中心副主任（挂任），中国—东盟公共卫生安全现代治理研究中心主任（广西人文社科重点研究基地）、中国—东盟公共卫生与健康大数据应用创新工程研究中心骨干。教育部首批课程思政示范课程《现场流行病学》、广西课程思政示范课程《临床流行病学》和《论文写作》教学名师团队骨干。中国时空智能与公众健康专委会副主委、广西病原监测及生物信息专委会副主委、中国卫生经济学会全球卫生经济分会常务理事、中国医学救援协会公共卫生分会常务理事、广西新发再发传染病学专业委员会常委等。2011年，获中法徐光启基金资助赴法国弗朗什-孔泰大学和法国疾病监测中心访学。2013-2016年，获美国中华医学基金（CMB）全额奖学金资助赴泰国宋卡王子大学攻读流行病学博士。主要研究疫苗流行病学、时空流行病与时空统计学、公共卫生政策与体系研究、因果推断理论与方法。主持国家自然科学基金4项（NSFC，流行病学方法与卫生统计学领域）、美国中华医学基金会公开竞争科研项目2项（CMB-OC，卫生政策与体系科学领域）、英国维康基金会科研子项目（Wellcome trust, one health同一健康研究领域）、全国重点传染病及病媒生物监测课题、全国医学专业学位研究生教指委课题、广西自然科学基金重点项目等课题。以第一作者或通讯作者在International Journal of Epidemiology、Infectious Disease of Poverty、Epidemiology and Psychiatric Sciences、Journal of Epidemiology、Vaccine、中华流行病学、中国卫生统计等期刊发表科研论文80余篇，高教出版社《医学统计学》副主编，参编人卫版研究生教材《综合评价方法及其医学应用》《高阶生物统计学》等4部。主要参与获得软件著作权、实用型专利、广西科技进步奖一等奖和二等奖、广西医药卫生适宜技术推广奖一等奖、南宁市科技进步一等奖、广西高等教育教学成果奖一等奖和二等奖等奖项。受邀在泰国玛希隆王子奖大会（PMAC）、中国—东盟公共卫生合作论坛、湄公河次区域公共卫生大会（ICPH-GMS）、第四届同一医学同一科学国际会议（iCOMOS）、安达拉斯国际公共卫生大会（AIPHC）、中国卫生/生物统计学术年会、中国健康政策与管理青年学者论坛、亚太公共卫生发展大会等国内外大型学术会议上作大会报告20余次。担任Journal of Health Science and Medical Research、中华疾病控制杂志、中国农村卫生事业管理、中国癌症防治等杂志编委，受聘广西医学会、广西药品监督管理局、云南疫苗实验室等专家。健康扶贫智库研究成果获得四位广西自治区级领导批示。

    Dr. Xianyan Tang holds the positions of professor and deputy dean at the Public Health School of Guangxi Medical University in China. Additionally, he serves as a supervisor for both PhD and master students in the field of epidemiology and biostatistics. In 2011, he was granted to work as a visiting scholar at the University of Franche-Comté and the French Center for Disease Surveillance through the XU Guangqi Program.During the period of 2013-2016, he was awarded a scholarship from the China Medical Board (CMB) Ph.D. Training Program to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree in International Epidemiology at Prince of Songkla University in Thailand. His research interests primarily revolve around Spatio-temporal Epidemiology and Statistic, Vaccination Epidemiology, Health Policy and System Science (HPS), and Causal Inference Methodology.
    Dr. Tang has made significant contributions to the academic community as the principal investigator for two grants funded by the Open Competitive Research Grant of China Medical Board (CMB-OC), four grants funded by the Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and one grant funded by the Wellcome Trust. He has published over 70 academic papers in reputable journals such as the International Journal of Epidemiology, Infectious Diseases of Poverty, Vaccine, and Chinese Epidemiology, among others. He has been invited to deliver academic speeches at prestigious events including the Prince Mahidol Award Conference (PMAC), the International Conference on Public Health Among Greater Mekong Sub-regional Countries (ICPH-GMS), and The Joint Journal Club co-organized by Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU) of Mahidol University. Furthermore, he has been a key speaker at the National Youth Forum on Health Management and Health Policy, and the National Conference  on Health Statistics in China.
